Storeman / Warehouse Operative - Dartford

£12.21 per hour - Equivalent to £28,571 per annum - Initial 6-month contract (temp to perm)

Our client, a leading utilities company, is currently seeking a Storeman / Warehouse Operative to join their team in Dartford. This is a full-time role offering up to £12.21 per hour, with a minimum 6-month contract and the potential to go permanent.

Hours:
Monday to Friday -
- 6:00am to 3:30pm or
- 7:30am to 5:00pm (45 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately check and record deliveries, reporting any discrepancies to your manager.
• Log and book all returned equipment into the warehouse system.
• Ensure all outgoing items are properly recorded and relevant paperwork is submitted to the office.
• Follow warehouse policies and procedures in line with current legislation.
• Conduct regular and end-of-year stock takes efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Support the office team with general enquiries as required.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment (essential)
• Reach forklift experience (essential)
• Ability to manage a varied workload and remain calm under pressure
