Our clients operate in the Utility Metering sector and are seeking an experience Stock and SUpply Chain Manager to join their growing team.
 
The role will report into the Head of Metering Support and will be responsible for all supply chain, materials and equipment activities that underpin the company's metering services business.
 
The role holder will lead a small team covering asset and equipment procurement, stock forecasting, 3rd party management and general field support administration.
 
Hybrid working or working from home (when possible) is likely to be avialable for the right candidates.
 
 
Responsibilities
 
·Accountable for supply chain and stock management including 3rd party management, ordering and budget responsibility across multiple suppliers and vendors
·Management of field support team which includes stock management, equipment ordering and various administration activities in support of the field operation
·Lead the performance and contract management discussions with asset suppliers, manufacturers and 3rd party providers
·Compilation of management data, collation of reports on performance against contracts
·Provision of key data and information and main interface on stock availability for commercial, operations and customer service teams
·Liaison with key stakeholders to capture and assess requirements for future system development and ongoing process improvement
·Analysis of data to improve the forecasting process and to implement change to improve performance
·Ensure root cause analysis is undertaken to improve customer outcomes and customer experience
·Budgetary control for people and procurement activities
 
 
Sklils/Experience Required
 
·Experience of supply chain management is essential
·Experience in leading teams
·Experience of 3rd party management including suppliers
·Knowledge of metering is highly desirable, as is relevant industry experience including supporting field operations
·Strong organisational and communication skills
·Experience in working in fast paced, dynamic environment; comfortable in operating at strategic and operational level
·Innovative & can improve processes
·Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills are highly desirable
·Previous budget responsibility
