My client is looking for a permanent member of staff to join them as a staging engineer in their newly opened and refurbished warehouse in Barnet.
 
The employer is an established tech company looking for a new permanent employee to join their warehouse staff.
 
Within this role you will:
 
·Take ownership of provisioning and staging requests and confirm delivery on time for managers
·Update internal inventory documentation with all the relevant information applied during staging
·Work with project managers and solution architects, to confirm requirements to make sure deliverys are correct the first time every time
·Update internal ticketing systems
·Work with the team on continuous improvement in workshops
·Update internal systems to track assets across the company
·Work with multiple teams to plan for future busy periods to ensure you are able to keep up with demand
 
This position is full-time Monday to Friday with no weekend work, working from 8 am until 5 pm. There is a competitive salary between £39,000 and £43,000 which will depend on previous experience and ability, and there are opportunities in the future for progression into more senior roles.
 
You will have:
·An understanding of how the staging practise works and what it achieves
·A basic knowledge of networking technologies, i.e. LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, routing, switching and subnet addressing. 
·A basic knowledge of networking hardware, ideally from the Ruckus & Cambium family
·Experience of network implementation work 
·Good Network Management, Security and Configuration understanding 
·A understanding of ISDN, VPN, Broadband solutions.
