An opportunity has arisen for an experience Highways Site Supervisor to join a leading groundwork and civil engineering contractor in the West Midlands area.
Working with local authorities, utility companies and major contractors, the company operate as both the main contractor or as specialist subcontractors on commercial, industrial and residential properties, with a particular focus on civil engineering, drainage and surfacing.
 
 
The Role:
 
We are now looking for an experience Site Supervisor to join the team in a full-time permanent position.
Reporting to an operations manager as one of two site supervisors, you will oversee a team of direct and sub-contractor labour across the West Midlands region on schemes varying in size but typically in the region of £250k-£300k in value.
As the main contractor to local authorities, works will include traffic improvement schemes, road widening, roundabouts, junction improvements, traffic crossings, general groundworks, civils and road resurfacing as well as much more.
 
 
The Candidate
 
To be considered for this position, you will have proven experience within the highways sector preferably as Site Supervisor and hold a SSSTS ticket as minimum.
Knowledge of working for a main contractor to Local Authorities or a sub-contractor will be advantageous, as will knowledge of Section 28 works, road resurfacing and patching, drainage and ground works.
