Job description

Our client are a large Infrastructure and Facilities contractor, looking for a Site Works manager to look after the facilities of one of their clients. They are looking for someone to come on for a 6 month period before transferring to a permanent position.
 
The role is paying between £39 & £42 per hour PAYE based on a 40 hour week starting at 8am. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with an excellent opportunity.
 
The role is based in: Oxfordshire
 
Responsibilities:
 
 
 
·The Site Work (Facilities) Manager will have responsibility for managing:
·- The day to day relationship with local intelligent client representatives and end users of the service
·- Planned (PPM) and reactive maintenance delivery, managing principle and specialist supply chain partners
·- Compliance with the safe system of work and agreed health and safety management controls
·- Directly delivered periodic statutory and mandatory inspections
·- The contract quality and assurance regime, in line with customer guidelines (Defence Infrastructure Organisation)
·- Oversight and monitoring of additional small works activity
·- Co-ordinating and undertaking a rolling programme of asset condition monitoring/surveying, supported by the asset management and technical compliance function
·- Co-ordinating technical and contractual management information at a site level, utilising the contract electronic document management system (EDMS) and information management processes
·- Undertaking/supporting general facilities contract management activities, including task management, budget management and the implementation of continuous improvement objectives
·The Site Works (Facilities) Manager will use their technical/engineering service knowledge/background to support the above activities and are likely to take Authorised Person or Responsible Person activities in support off the site/area based safe system of work.
·To support contract mobilisation activities, the Site Works (Facilities) Manager will support technical and compliance reviews, the establishment of specific technical and/or management plans/registers, as well as due diligence activities (desktop based and physical asset/compliance due diligence.
 
Requirements
 
·Mobilisation
·- Support the review of asset and compliance records.
·- Support the review, collation and development of technical/delivery and compliance registers/plans (e.g. Gas, Asbestos, Water Management, Grounds, Site Plans etc)
·- Undertaking AP/RP training courses, as set out within the requirements of Ministry of Defence joint service publications (JSP375)
·- Based on an information review, supporting the development of maintenance plans and the configuration of the CAFM system.
·- Supporting the development of contract assurance plans and records (e.g. Health and Safety, Quality Management)
·- Undertaking physical surveying activities
·Business as usual
·- Manage relationships with building users/custodians and site-based client and customer representative
·- Embed the contract quality and assurance processes are adhered to throughout the VINCI and supply chain workforce
·- Ensure effective systems are established to support the operational need of the site
·- Work in collaboration with supply chain partners to manage the PPM programme
·- Work with supply chain to resolve any reactive maintenance emergencies, SLA non-conformances and/or technical compliance issues
·- Undertake AP and/or RP duties, relating to trade background/expertise.
·- Ensure the Health and Safety Management plan is adhered to, taking responsibility for auditing RAMS and point of work health and safety audits.
·- Manage compliance with the contract/site physical and access security requirements.
·- Ensure the CAFM systems is configured to optimise the management of all planned and reactive works
·- Undertake periodic asset surveying/monitoring activities (e.g. condition surveying/out of use buildings etc.)
·- Working with the commercial function, developing quotes/business cases for out of scope/additional works
·- Early identification of business risks and issues throughout contract delivery, working with the contract risk management function to log, monitor and mitigate impacts able to apply for security clearance
