This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer to work with a leading rail contractor on minor civils for a major project in South Wales.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out site surveys,  trial hole reports and update as built drawings for all projects.
 
Rate: £450/day - Umbrella Inside IR35
Location: South Wales
Duration: 6 months
Hours: Nights
 
Essential Requirements:
·Proven setting out experience using total stations, GPS equipment
·2 years' experience working on rail projects
·PTS
 
Responsibilities:
·Be experienced and competent with the setting out of
·Carry out site surveys,  trial hole reports and update as built drawings for all projects
·Raising technical queries with designers and other members of the client team
·Carry out relevant inspections and testing to ensure conformance of the works with the design and specification
·Ensure all work complies with quality, safety and environmental policies and the requirements of the company procedures
·Read and review construction drawings
·Setting out using total stations, GPS equipment
