Freelance Site Engineer - Structures & Highways (Worcestershire)
Are you an experienced Freelance Site Engineer looking for a long-term contract with consistent workload and strong site involvement?
An established civil engineering contractor is seeking a capable Freelance Engineer to support a secured programme of civils, highways, and structural works based in Worcestershire:

Freelance Contract Details:
·Location: Worcestershire (site based)
·Start Date: February
·Duration: 15-18 months
·Rate: £300/day CIS
·Working Pattern: Full-time, site based
 
 
With a February start and 15-18 months of work already secured, this role offers rare continuity for a freelance engineer.
 
You'll be working on sites and around Worcestershire, supporting the technical delivery of structural elements across highways and infrastructure schemes. This is a hands-on role suited to engineers who enjoy being involved in both design coordination and site execution.
 
This contract provides stability, autonomy, and the opportunity to be embedded within a well-established delivery team.
 
Key Responsibilities:
·Engineering support across civils, highways, and structures packages
·Setting out and overseeing structural works on site
·Producing and reviewing technical drawings and documentation
·Coordinating with site teams to ensure works are delivered to specification
·Assisting with temporary works and construction methodology where required
 
Experience:
·Structures background essential
·Civils and highways / road schemes experience beneficial
·CAD proficiency essential
·SMSTS beneficial
