Job Title: Site Engineer
 
Salary: £28,000-£34,000 dependent on experience
 
Location: Leicestershire, UK
 
My client are a specialised civil engineering company operating across the Midlands area, and deliver a variety of services within the Highways and Infrastructure sector across the UK for an impressive list of public and private sector clients. Due to a continuation in contract success and company expansion, they're looking for an Engineer with Civil Engineering and Highways experience to join the team.
 
To be considered for the role, you should have demonstrable experience of at least 2-3 years working on site as an engineer, and strong working knowledge of highways construction.
 
Responsibilities:
·Support the Site Agent and other members of the team on the projects
·Work across sites within the Leicestershire area
·Liaise with customers and clients to ensure projects are completed within specification, and considering budget and time constraints
·Set out and survey sites using technical expertise
·Check drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy
·Promote quality, health and safety and environmental standards on site
 
Requirements:
·2-3 years of site engineering experience
·Working knowledge of highways construction
·A degree/qualification in Civil Engineering or similar field
·CSCS Card
·NRSWA accreditation
·Full UK drivers license
·Excellent communication skills and problem solving abilities
·A willingness to progress within the role
