We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join a team for a project based in Ipswich. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the earthworks package around a substation, ensuring precision in setting out and maintaining high-quality standards through effective Quality Assurance processes.

Responsibilities:
·Conduct accurate site surveys and establish precise setting out for earthworks within the substation project.
·Implement and maintain rigorous Quality Assurance procedures to guarantee work meets specified standards and regulatory requirements.
·Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
·Provide technical expertise and support to the construction team, addressing any site engineering challenges that may arise.
·Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving issues promptly to maintain project timelines.
·Uphold health and safety standards on-site, promoting a culture of safety awareness among the project team.

Requirements:
·Proven experience as a Site Engineer, preferably with a focus on earthworks and substation projects.
·Strong knowledge of setting out procedures and Quality Assurance processes.
·Proficient in the use of surveying instruments and relevant engineering software.
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective collaboration within the project team.
·Ability to work independently and make informed decisions under pressure.
·Familiarity with health and safety regulations within the construction industry.
