Role: Site Engineer / Setting out engineer
Location: RYE East Sussex
Rates per day: £388 Umbrella - Equivalent take home pay to £290 Limited / CIS
Duration: Until October and scope to move onto a new project then
Start: 1st week of March
 
Are you an experienced Site Engineer / Setting out engineer?
Have you got experience working with Earthworks or Piling work?
 
If the answer to both of the above is yes, then this may be a role for you.
 
My client is looking for 1-2  experienced site and setting out engineers for a large project based in Rye attached to river / tidal walls - flood alleviation work that is very much focused around setting out for earthworks / piling operations.
 
Ideal candidates will have previous Tier 1 contractor experience as a site engineer or setting out engineer.  Note if you have earthworks or piling experience from any industry sector you would be suitable for this position.  However if you have tidal wall, flood defence / flood alleviation, river and coastal or marine sector experience that would be highly advantageous.

This project is due to start in the first week of March and will continue until October giving you 7-8 months work of work and will then restart in March 2024.  If you perform to the required standard there is scope for my client to transfer you to another project during this shutdown period.
