Site Based Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Water
Milton Keynes  
£36,000-£41,000 p/a plus package
Working Pattern: Full time, 40.25 hours a week across 7 days, 12-hour shifts.  
 
 
Carrington West are excited to be working with one of the leading providers of water and water recycling services in the UK.
 
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be helping to maintain all the mechanical and electrical assets at our Bioresources site. 
 
Key duties will include:

- Carrying out reactive and planned work 

- Investigating and repairing faults  

- Safe operation and maintenance of all assets in line with Health and Safety policies  

- Reporting back on asset condition  

- Ensuring the availability of plant and equipment 

- Ensuring all procurement procedures are adhered to including SAP and records maintained  

What does it take to be a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer?
  
- Completed either an industrial electrical or mechanical apprenticeship  

- NVQ level 2 or 3 or equivalent (electrical or engineering maintenance) 

- Proven mechanical or electrical experience in an industrial environment, along with a working knowledge of industrial electrical control systems, telemetry systems, pumps, gearboxes, general mechanical plant and equipment  

- Strong awareness of health and safety  

- Full UK driving licence
