Carrington West are pleased to be working closely with a leading multi-disciplinary, civil engineering contractor on a new package of work based across South Wales.
 
Rate: £325/day (CIS)
Location: Sites across South Wales
Duration: 12 months (ongoing - 3 years of work in he pipeline)
 
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading contractor in an established team on a long term basis.
 
Essential requirements:
 
·3 years' experience working on Rail projects
·Experience in heavy civils e.g. tunnels, bridges, stations
·PTS, CSCS, SMSTS
·Degree or HND in civil engineering or similar
 
Responsibilities:
·Health and safety leadership to the assigned operational delivery site team
·Delivering a high quality and profitable package of work
·Achieving gross site margin target on allocated schemes as directed by the contracts manager
·Ensuring sufficient and competent resource is in place for the delivery of the project and ensuring the project objectives are communicated to the site team
·Developing and maintaining a construction programme and ensuring works are communicated and delivered against milestones.
·Identifying, managing and controlling associated programme risks and communicating this as required
·Maintain effective client and stakeholder relationships
