Job description

Are you a signalling design engineer with scheme development experience?

Do you have previous experience working on Grip 3&4 schemes?

My client is one of the leading design and build signalling contractors in the UK. Due to massive increases in workload thanks to various project wins on major signalling frameworks, they are looking to add to their team.

Location: working from home (even after covid)

Rate: dependant on experience

Contract length: Initial 6 months but potentially up to 5 years

My client is looking for a contract signalling design engineer and if this person performs then there is many years worth of work ahead of them. This role will be permanently based from home and any interaction with clients can all be done over teams

They can take on any level from engineer to principal but what is most important is that you have experience in scheme development with Grip 3-4

Ideally the candidate will be able to look at the scheme from an operational railway perspective so can not just understand the required design elements but look at how the train will run and be operated when built

My client is open to interviewing in the next couple of weeks and ideally would like to start people in the new year but if the right person come along and needed to start immediately they could accommodate that as well.

My client is after several people for this position and would be open to taking on people that have worked together previously
