Setting Out Engineer
 
Our client is a large energy company, delivering both M&E and EPC projects. Delivering substations build and refurbishments works across England and Wales including design, project management, cable installation, building construction, switchgear installation, commissioning, decommissioning and demolition.
 
Key Requirements:
·National Grid experience and knowledge of NG procedures
·Working with and interpreting engineering drawings to identify and mark structural features using various equipment (GPS and digital/laser levelling instruments, EDMs etc)
·Working in a sub-station environment, setting out boundaries, levelling and surveying work
·Managing engineering drawings on site, ensuring revision control and working to National Grid procedures (TP135 Management of Drawings).
·Quality control
 
Essential Skills and Experience:
·Full driving licence and own transport
·National Grid Persons
·HNC/HND/Degree in an electrical or engineering discipline
·Previous site experience in civil engineering is essential, ideally in a HV/substation environment.

·As built surveys
 
 
This is a 6 month contract based near Middlesbrough.
Start date - ASAP
PAYE rate - £316.77per day
