My client is a firm of transport planners and traffic engineers that provide development planning services to a wide variety of private and public sector clients. They are a small company with aspirations to remain so in order to ensure quality of service.
They are based in central Bristol and operate throughout the UK. They offer remote working and are a supporter of the Good Employment Charter. The company are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Transport Planner to join their team. You would be based in the Bristol office, with the option to work from home part of the week.
You would be expected to carry out all duties normally associated with employment in this position, in particular the preparation of technical documents (Access Feasibility, Transport Statements, Transport Assessments), site visits, transport modelling (Junctions9 and LinSig), as well as managing and mentoring junior staff.
In addition you may be required to carry out such alternative or additional duties as the Company may from time to time reasonably require. This is a small company and all staff are expected to be flexible with regard to the work required of them.
