An opportunity has arisen for a Senior / Principal Transport Planner with experience in Sustainable Transport / Active Travel to join a client in Buckinghamshire. Working on a number of sustainable transport projects and active travel schemes your main duties include developing projects in relation to walking and cycling, consultation responses, reviewing current policies and local plans in place and delivering a range of programmes across the area.
 
This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer £40 - £45 per hour - negotiable for the right candidate. Flexible working / working from home arrangements are available.
 
Working within the Highways team your main duties include:
·Developing a range of active travel and sustainable transport projects
·Assisting with the planning of transport policies for future schemes
·Overseeing the delivery of projects and programmes across the area
·Writing reports, attending meetings and providing written responses to the public
