Senior Traffic Engineer
 
Carrington West are currently working with a busy South London Borough with their search for an experienced Traffic Engineer to join them on a contract basis.
 
You will be expected to carry out the duties of a Senior Engineer in the Traffic Management section, including developing, programming and implementing a wide range of Highways, Traffic and/or Parking Management schemes.
 
You will take personal responsibility for the planning and delivery of schemes and adopt a supervisory role over Technicians and Engineers who are assisting them.
The post-holder will need to demonstrate a commitment to high quality performance and team working.
 
You will be part of the Transportation Service, which is responsible for all transportation-related issues around the borough, including regeneration projects, traffic management, parking, as well as implementing the Council's capital programme and Local Improvement Plan (LIP).

Previous experience in Traffic is essential for this role.
