Location: London Docklands (2-3 days per week on-site)
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £40,000 - £70,000

We're seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Executive QS to join a high-voltage energy infrastructure project in London Docklands. This is an excellent opportunity for a QS with NEC4 experience who wants to work on a high-profile utility project, supporting both commercial management and delivery oversight.
You will work closely with the project team, providing commercial leadership, managing supply chain engagement, and ensuring robust reporting and change control processes. This role requires a hands-on approach and offers exposure to contractor-side delivery on a technically challenging HV energy scheme.

The Role
Key responsibilities include:
·Full commercial management of the assigned HV energy works
·NEC4 contract administration, including change control, compensation events, and claims
·Managing supply chain performance, subcontract procurement, and interim valuations
·Producing monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs), forecasts, and financial reports
·Liaising with contractors, project managers, and internal teams to support delivery
·Providing proactive commercial advice to mitigate risks and optimise outcomes
·Supporting decision-making with accurate and timely reporting

About You
The ideal candidate will have a solid civil/electrical infrastructure background with strong NEC4 experience and exposure to contractor-side delivery.
·Proven experience with NEC4 contracts
·HV energy or utility project experience highly desirable
·Experience with supply chain management, procurement, CVRs, and reporting
·Strong understanding of change control and compensation events
·Excellent commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills
·Ability to work on-site 2-3 days per week in London Docklands
·Relevant QS qualification or equivalent experience
