An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Senior Traffic Engineering professional to join our client's expanding offices based in Slough. Due to ongoing success in the Highways and Transportation sectors and some major client wins in 2020 we are expecting unprecedented growth throughout 2021 onwards!
As the successful Senior Engineer you will be working on a range of schemes within the industry, in a team of Engineering professionals enabling you to advance your career and develop your skill set.

The position itself will include, but not be limited to:
·Project managing in accordance with Client requirements
·Provide technical support on projects and advice on complex technical issues.
·Ensure all project files are up to date and comply with the QA system
·Check output produced by other staff in terms of reports / drawings and its certification
·Respond to Client and customer requests and enquiries and ensuring that their needs are met
·Forge working links with professionals in Client partner organisations
·To input into marketing and business development activity for the business unit
·To be flexible - carry out any duties as and when required for the good of the company
·To manage all staff under his / her department / core area effectively and encourage and motivate performance
Our ideal candidate will have but not limited to:
·Relevant Degree or equivalent
·A minimum of 4 year's relevant experience
·Membership of a professional institution (e.g. MILT, MICE or MCIHT) or aiming towards Professional qualification to Chartered / Incorporated level with a professional institution
·Alternative consideration given to relevant experience in lieu of specified education and professional qualification
·Comprehensive understanding of transportation techniques including an understanding of parking engineering, traffic engineering and traffic management orders and a proven track record in project design and delivery
·Good understanding of relevant highway legislation in transportation
