Senior Town Planning Officer
 
Carrington West are assisting their local authority client based in the South East with their search for a Senior Town Planning Officer to join their Major Applications Team on initial 6-month Contract.
 
The role would be predominantly based remotely, with the need to travel to Kent around once a week.
 
Responsibilities will include:
·Dealing with a variety of complex applications
·Caseload includes pre-applications, applications and post-decision conditions
·Confidently writing reports on proposals, getting through a large caseload
 
Candidate's Required Experience:
·Several years' of experience within Local Authorities.
·MRTPI would be beneficial.
·Previous experience of a varied caseload, including major applications
 
Working Arrangements:
·Rate is currently negotiable dependent on experience, but we have been given a guide of £40 per hour
·IR35 is Inside
·Remote-based working
·6 Month initial contract
