A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior or Principal Drainage Engineer to join a market leading consultancy, who have had major project wins over the last several months. This is a full time contract role which can offer remote/flexible working for the right candidate, with ad-hoc office travel to the office required.
 
This position falls inside IR35.
 
The Role
 
·Design and deliver coordinated drainage design solutions for major highway projects in the UK 
·Develop and review of feasibility studies, technical reports, detailed designs and production of contract documents for highway projects
·Develop innovative drainage strategies for clients
·Meeting and liaising with clients, stakeholders and other disciplines
·Demonstrate excellent experience, ability and mentoring in UK drainage design, SuDS and relevant software/flood modelling
·Apply and promote policies relating to health and safety (including CDM Regulations), quality, and training 
 
The Ideal Candidate
 
·Minimum 5+ years of UK design experience of working on a wide range of projects including drainage & highway design
·A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
·Ability to carry out detailed design of SUDS & drainage, earthworks, S106 applications, build
·over agreements, S278 works
·Competence with AutoCAD and Microdrainage or Flow
·Competence with use of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Google e-mail and calendar; PDF editing software.
