Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Salary : Up to £75,000
Location: Buckinghamshire - South East, Essex - East, Hertfordshire - East
As a leading civil engineering organization renowned for delivering safe, sustainable, and efficient transport solutions across the UK, my client is seeking a talented Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their thriving Highways team. With projects in Hertfordshire and Essex, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of infrastructure.
About the role...
In this dynamic role, you'll be responsible for subcontract procurement, meticulous cost planning and control, financial progress reporting, and maintaining exceptional client relationships.
Collaboration is key, and you will work closely with a team of highly motivated professionals, united by a shared passion for delivering exceptional Highways projects.
You'll also have the opportunity to manage and mentor an Assistant/Graduate Quantity Surveyor, guiding them toward success.

About you...

You will also have:
·Experience s a Senior Quantity Surveyor, managing projects in the range of £5-10 million
·A strong commercial background, ideally in a Highways environment
·Managed or mentored team members
·Good knowledge of NEC contracts and the ability to handle multiple projects
·Previous exposure to COINS software is an advantage.
·Degree qualified in a Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related course (or equivalent qualification / relevant experience)
· Hold or working towards a professional membership with a recognised and relevant Professional body i.e. Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (CICES) (desirable
