We are supporting one of the leading cost and commercial management consultancies in the market to find a Senior QS to join their Property team in Leeds. This is a company with a reputation for quality in what they deliver for their clients and how the treat and develop their staff.
You will be joining a growing and ambitious team who focus on the Commercial Property sector and benefit from a diverse range of projects and high-profile clients, both public and private sector.

About the role
The successful candidate will be a highly competent and ambitious Quantity Surveyor who has demonstrated a broad range of commercial experience in the Property sector, in particular commercial property. You will have the opportunity to bring you knowledge and experience of providing commercial construction services and help to continue delivery of premium service to clients whilst further developing your own skills and developing with the business. Someone who integrates well into a team and enjoys the social aspects of work as well as the professional would suit this opportunity.

We are looking for someone with experience in the following areas:
·Experience within at least one of the following sectors:
·Commercial property
·Education
·Manufacturing & logistics
·Large scale retail (Ideally supermarkets)
·Working knowledge of construction contracts such as JCT and NEC
·Extensive experience in preparing estimates for property related developments.
·Experience in preparing tender and contract documentation
·Experience of managing project commercial teams and supporting other colleagues
·Knowledge and understanding of the key commercial issues relating to works delivered in the private sector

Required qualifications:
·Qualified with a BSc (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or relevant Construction qualification
·Chartered member of the RICS
