Senior Project Development Engineer-Solar and Batteries
Full Time - Permanent Role - Flexible working options.
Salary - Up to £65,000 + Bonus + Car
Location Reading, Berkshire
Base Location: Main offices are Glasgow, Reading or London, but flexible working options available.

Are you a project development engineer looking for a new exciting challenge, my client is one of the Uk's leading energy providers. A successful candidate would have the ability to lead multi discipline engineering design teams in the evaluation of energy storage and solar generation opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of bids
• Development of conceptual and front end designs
• Providing support during project delivery for wide variety of complex solar and battery energy storage projects
• Understanding of the Gigawatt pipelines
• The client is looking for someone passionate
• The client is looking for someone with a keen key eye for health and safety, costing and the environment.
• The right candidate would be confident in maintaining stake holder relationships.

Requirements

• A good understanding of the energy market
• A good understanding of transmission and distribution networks
• Combined with your engineering expertise
• Ideally has a degree in the relevant subject i.e. Electrical Engineering
• Strong expertise in HV,LV and MV Power networks, and the development and design of energy generation projects
• Experience and a successful history of managing and interfacing with consultants and Engineering Procurement and Construction contractors is desirable.
