Carrington West are assisting their local authority client based in the East of England in the search of a Senior Planning Officer to join their Development Management team on an initial 6 month contract (Then rolling). This post will be offered on a hybrid basis, with on-site requirements as and when needed.
We are looking for an experienced planner to manage a caseload of minor and small major applications; this will include a mixture of residential schemes and various industrial sites (Such as, schools, fire stations, & libraries), which could have an element of CIL & S106 incorporated.
 
The post holder must have a Degree or postgraduate diploma in town and country planning or relevant subject such as geography, environmental science, sustainability or geology; and have an in depth knowledge of the UK planning system.
 
The council are looking for candidates who will be able to hit the ground running and have experience working at this level previously. CVs are due to be reviewed shortly, so if interested please to get in contact.
