At Carrington West, we are assisting their local authority client based in London, in their search for a Town Planning Enforcement Officer on an initial 3-6-month contract.
 
ROLE:
To investigate and resolve difficult, high profile and significant breaches of legislation, affecting the borough by operating across traditional boundaries.
 
You will be required to carry out investigations into planning complaints and enquiries specifically regarding the unauthorised change use of properties to HMOs, flat conversions, beds in sheds and make recommendations on appropriate further action.
 
The authority is offering a flexible working arrangement until the pandemic subsides and can be flexible thereafter.  
 
'Development management' experience will be considered if you don't already have planning enforcement experience.
