Exciting Opportunity for a Senior Engineer in the Water/Wastewater Industry
Role: Senior Engineer
Location: Leicester
Rate: Up to £475 per day - LTD/Outside IR35 )Must provide Total Station & GPS)
Duration: 9 months +
Sector: Water / Wastewater (Non-Infrastructure)

With a strong pipeline of work and a commitment to innovation, we're looking for an experienced Senior Engineer to take ownership of QA processes, testing, and site engineering leadership on a major water/wastewater project.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage quality assurance (QA) procedures, ensuring all works meet design and client specifications.
· Direct and mentor site engineers, providing clear technical leadership and ensuring consistent performance across the team.
· Take full responsibility for materials testing and verification, overseeing ITPs and ensuring accurate documentation.
· Liaise with the design team to resolve technical queries, review drawings, and implement buildable, cost-effective solutions.
· Oversee survey control, as-built records, and maintain robust QA documentation.
· Work closely with the Project Manager and Site Management team to coordinate daily operations and progress reporting.
· Champion HSEQ standards and promote best practice throughout the delivery phase.
Requirements:
· Proven experience as a Senior Engineer or experienced Site Engineer within the water/wastewater sector - essential.
· Strong understanding of QA systems, materials testing, and design coordination.
· Proficient in modern surveying tools and software (AutoCAD, Trimble, Leica, GPS).
· Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and develop junior engineers.
· CSCS essential; SMSTS and First Aid desirable.
· Full UK driving licence required.
