Job Title: Project Planner
Location: London (multiple offices) - 4 days in office
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (DOE) + £4,800 Car Allowance + Excellent Benefits
A leading Tier 1 infrastructure contractor is looking to appoint a Project Planner to support the delivery of major engineering and infrastructure works across London on behalf of Thames Water's AMP8 delivery framework.
This opportunity would suit a motivated early-career planner with around 1-3 years' experience who is keen to develop their career within a collaborative and technically focused project environment. The role will involve working closely with project teams to develop programmes, support planning activities, and contribute to the successful delivery of complex infrastructure schemes.
The successful candidate will have a technical degree background (such as Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar) and a solid understanding of how construction projects are delivered. While extensive planning experience is not essential, candidates should demonstrate an ability to engage with project teams, analyse information, and build confidence in project programmes.
You will be working alongside experienced professionals and supporting planning activities across multiple live projects. The role requires someone who is comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and contributing to programme discussions within project meetings.
Key Responsibilities
·Assist with the development and maintenance of project programmes
·Work closely with site teams and technical staff to gather project information
·Support collaborative planning sessions with project stakeholders
·Analyse progress and identify potential risks to programme delivery
·Contribute to programme updates and reporting for project leadership
About You
·Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related technical discipline
·1-3 years' experience in planning, project coordination, or programme support
·Understanding of construction project delivery and sequencing
·Confident communicator who can contribute in collaborative planning environments
·Motivated to develop a long-term career in project planning
What's on Offer
·£50,000 - £60,000 salary
·£4,800 car allowance
·25 days annual leave
·Matched pension up to 10%
·Hybrid working depending on project requirements
·Long-term career development within a major Tier 1 contractor
Projects are located across the London region, so candidates should be able to travel to sites when required.
