Senior Drainage Engineer
I'm currently working with a well-established civil and structural engineering consultancy who are looking to bring in an experienced Senior Flood Risk & Drainage Engineer to join their team in Leeds.

The Role
You'll be leading on the preparation of Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies, alongside the detailed design of drainage schemes for residential and specialist living developments.
Your role will also include:
·Preparing fee proposals and managing projects.
·Advising on flood risk and drainage within planning and masterplan layouts.
·Liaising directly with clients, local authorities, and design teams.
·Mentoring and guiding junior engineers to support their growth.
What You'll Need
·Degree in Civil Engineering or related field (BEng/MEng).
·Strong UK consultancy experience in FRAs and drainage strategies.
·Proven drainage design expertise with software such as MicroDrainage, Causeway Flow, and Civils 3D.
·Proficiency with AutoCAD.
·Deep understanding of SuDS, local authority/utility requirements, and national planning policy.
·Excellent report-writing, communication, and mentoring skills.
