My client is looking to source a Senior level qualified Town Planner to assist on an initial 3-month contract, with a possibility that the contract will extend.
 
The role is based in Lincolnshire, and there will be an expectation that you would attend the office/do site visits when needed which will probably be once every week or every fortnight. Apart from these visits, the role can be worked fully remotely. My client is ideally seeking a contractor who is fairly local to the council.
 
If you have prior knowledge of 'uniform' software, this would be beneficial.
In terms of the workload, you will be dealing with a mixture of application types, ranging from House Holder to small majors with negotiation of planning obligations being a possibility.
Ideally you will be able to travel around the council area via your own vehicle for site visits when needed.
 
To be successful in this position you MUST BE:
·A Qualified Town Planner with experience within a Local Authority DM Planning Team
 
Carrington West are looking to pay a rate of £35-45 per hour for this position, a fantastic rate for this level of work.
