Do you want to work for a highly motivated local authority planning team who consistently delivers a high level of service?
My client in Lancashire is seeking an skilled development officer to join one of their area teams for a 4- 6 month contract. In this role you will carry a case load of applications including; householders, minors and small scale majors. You'll also be expected handle sign offs.
 
They are seeking a contractor on a full time basis for 37 hours per week, who is confident and can hit the ground running. Office presence will be expected to be around three times a week to start with. They can be more flexible with this later on.
 
To be suitable for this role, you will need to have had experience dealing in small scale majors, and be comfortable juggling caseloads while also signing off junior officers work. Working within a LPA or relevant private sector experience is a must. A degree in a relevant field is ideal, however the manager values the experience an individual can bring over a qualification.
