Senior Highways Design Engineer-
 
£45,000-£55,000
 
Reports to: Principal Design Engineer
 
The role-
·Responsible for overseeing technical designs in a cost-effective manner, working timely and collaboratively with the client.
·Consistent improvement and development in quality and design output.
·Working on a range of public realm design schemes at 25+ million.
·Commercial understanding ensuring projects run to budget.
·Working closely with the client to build on the pre-existing relationship and conducted an effective working relationship.
·Providing supervision of junior staff.
What you will need-
·Knowledge of health, safety and the environment- including CDM.
·Minimum of 4 years of design experience
·Knowledge and understanding of the application of BIM
·Knowledge and understanding of the application of NEC contracts.
·Degree in Civil Engineering or related topic.
·Experience delivering AutoCAD and Civil3D packages.
