This position offers the chance to work on high-profile projects exceeding £100 million in value, alongside a multi-disciplinary team delivering design, procurement, coordination, and project management services across the entire project lifecycle.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will:
·Collaborate within project teams to deliver innovative solutions.
·Interface with disciplines such as architecture, building services engineering, project management, and cost management.
·Represent the consultancy at client and project meetings to present designs.
·Produce Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs), drainage strategies, and pre-planning advice.
·Serve as a primary client interface, conducting site visits for technical assessments and problem-solving.
What You Bring to the Role
To succeed, you will need:
·Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a multi-disciplinary environment.
·Membership (or a strong desire to gain membership) of the Institution of Civil Engineers (M.I.C.E.) or an equivalent professional body.
·In-depth knowledge of Section 38, 278, and 104 agreements.
·Proficiency in AutoCAD, particularly Civil 3D.
·Expertise in drainage design, SUDS, highways, and cut-and-fill analysis.
·Strong design experience, demonstrated through past projects.
·Familiarity with drainage design (foul and surface water), minor roadway design, and relevant agreements under the Highways Act and Water Industry Act.
·Working knowledge of Part H and M of Building Regulations, British Standards, and local authority requirements.
