Contract Rate: £40 to £45 / Per Hour Inside IR35 (Paid Umbrella)
Location: G2S Section (HS2)
Contract Length: 6 Months
 
Role Details:
 
My client is looking to take on a Senior Bridge Design Engineer at senior level to help support the G2S section of HS2, undertaking rail bridge designs, surveys and bridge assessments. Your responsibilities include checking and assessing projects across a wide range of both new and existing bridges or other complex structures focusing on viaducts, bridges and cut & cover tunnels.
 
 
Responsibilities:
·Prior experience undertaking bridge design, surveys and assessments in the rail industry.
·Reviewing and acceptance of permanent works materials for structures
·Producing as built records of structural assets
 
Essential:
·Prior experience undertaking bridge design, surveys and assessments in the rail industry.
·Experience working on large rail infrastructure projects.
·Degree in civil engineering
·Min 5 years experience in design projects on structural assets (viaducts, tunnels and bridges)
 
Preferred:
·Chartered Membership to an appropriate professional body, preferred not necessary.
