Our client, a National Fire and Security business, have an exciting opportunity to join their team in Luton (or the surrounding areas) as a Service Engineer.

This role is offered on either an ongoing contract basis, or temporary to permanent (switching after 6 months with Carrington West). It's up to you!

The Role

·Meet company targets for periodic inspections and services of Security systems
·Liaise with the company's service desk to discuss customer issues clearly and effectively.
·Prompt completion of supporting paperwork/administration.
·Be available to participate in the on call rota (currently 1 in 5)
·Cover Luton and the surrounding area (30-40 minutes drive max)

What you will need

·Knowledge of CCTV, Intruder & Access Control systems (Reactive maintenance and PPM)
·Security Alarm Systems servicing experience
·Presentable image when representing the company on customer premises
·Cleat and effective communication skills
·Full UK Driving Licence
·Hold current qualifications Security Alarm Systems (Desirable)

The core 40 hours are Mon-Fri with plenty of overtime available.

For the successful candidate, based on experience and attitude to the role my client are offering between £14-17.20 per hour, with all vehicle and tools provided.

There are also excellent overtime (1.5 and Double time available) and bonus opportunities, meaning a typical engineer will earn £40-45k annually, with some as high as £60k per annum! The earning potential is fantastic!
