What we need:

Our client, a term maintenance contractor for a local authority in Cambridgeshire, seek an experienced and available Schemes Delivery Manager.

What you will do:

• To be responsible for overall management of a range of highway related construction schemes including new infrastructure and maintenance of existing highway infrastructure
• To ensure client expectations of individual works are achieved.
• Ensure all tasks are programmed, planned, resourced and executed in accordance with specifications, drawings, dimensions and within agreed commercial limits.
• Responsible for the direct supervision of both self-delivery and supply chain delivered works.
• Ensure individual works are administered in accordance with NEC Contract.
• To ensure all tasks are carried out in accordance with company processes and policies.
• Ensure sufficient resource is available for each stage of the works.
• Responsible for the onsite Health, Safety and Wellbeing of operational staff and ensure the works adhere with Environmental processes

What you need to succeed:

• A previous highways management position is essential
• Highways Term Maintenance experience would be desirable
• Understanding of Highways contracts in accordance with NEC

What you will get in return:

You will be joining an excellent Highways team with a huge remit across the region.
You will be paid £31.88 per hour through an umbrella company  
Or
£25.00 per hour PAYE which will include Holiday and pension contribution
This job is the equivalent of £52'000 per year.
The job will be somewhat site based, an office is available to use in Huntingdon and working from home arrangements can be utilised.
