An opportunity has arisen for a Road Safety Officer to join a client in Buckinghamshire. You will be responsible for creating, implementing and monitoring Road Safety strategies which aim to reduce the amount of traffic collisions and casualties across the area. You will also be responsible for overseeing the school patrol service, providing reports related to road safety projects and delivering road safety education campaigns and events.
 
This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £25 - £30 per hour - negotiable for the right candidate.  Flexible working arrangements / working from home opportunities are available.
 
Working within the Highways team your main duties include:
·Creating, implementing and monitoring road safety strategies across the area
·Overseeing the school patrol service
·Delivering road safety education campaigns and events
·Liaising with the community and the stakeholders in regards to road safety projects
