Position: River or Coastal Modeller
Salary: £20,000 - £28,000
Employment: Full time permanent
 
My client is a Cardiff based consultancy who are expanding due to continued project wins and increasing workloads. You will be working as part of a Water and Environmental team and given guidance as well as day to day support by the Principal Consultant / Team Leader.
 
In this role you will be providing consultancy services for a range of clients and projects which span across multiple sectors such as Infrastructure, power, renewable as well as residential and  commercial.
 
Depending on your strengths and experience you will be delivering:
 
Hydraulic Modelling
GIS Mapping
Flood Risk assessments & similar technical reporting
Working towards chartership
Project management
 
 
Suitable candidate will have the below:
·Degree qualified ( MSc advantageous but not essential ) in an engineering, water, environmental or similar related field
·Previous experience and working knowledge of Flood Risk Regulation for planning requirements
·Hydraulic Modelling experience - Ideally with, tuflow, flood modeller   ReFH 2 or WINFAP 4 but not essential
·Experience of report writing
