Role: Risk Manager- Southern Water Projects
Location: Falmer, Brighton
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 - Dependent on Experience

My client are an exciting consultancy based business in the UK Water Sector. They are looking to grow their team in Brighton to support the growth of their operations with Southern Water.
 
We are looking to recruit a Risk Manager on a permanent basis. The projects involved with Southern Water as part of their AMP7 operation. Projects range in value of £1m to £50m+, with a variety of high-profile contractors delivering the work. In this position, you will be expected to liaise with Southern Water and Tier 1 contractors to oversee the successful risk assessing of projects across the majority of the framework.
 
To be successful in this role, you will be coming from the construction/Infrastructure industry in some capacity. For e.g. Water, Gas, Telecoms, Rail etc.
 
Responsibilities:
 
·Facilitation of risk workshops
·Updating of Project Risk Registers, including the updating of the SW Risk Management software (PIM)
·Clear explanation of the risk management process to delivery team members
·Reporting of risk information to the Program Risk Manager
·Assisting in the undertaking of quantitative risk modelling (cost and schedule) and reviews.
·Assisting in providing advice on commercial risk allocation
 
To be considered, you MUST have the following
        - A background/ experience in a risk management-based position in the UK technical industries.
        - APM Risk Certificate, or equivalent qualification (Can be subsidized with substantial relevant experience).
      
This role is hybrid, where you will be expected to work from Falmer 3-4 days per week.
