Job description
Are you a quantity surveyor who has experience working on rail infrastructure projects?
Have you been involved with rail signalling projects in the past?
My client is a very busy rail contractor who has a very strong order book for 2021 and for due to this are looking for x2 Quantity surveyors to join their team.
Rate:
£350 - £450 per day contract
Salary - dependant on experience
Location: Cheshire or Wiltshire 1 day a week and rest working from home
My client has multiple projects starting next year and need x2 QS with signalling experience due to the type of projects they will be working on.
This will be using the NEC contract and option A/ fixed price/ cool off and framework agreements.
Previous rail signalling project experience is a must and ideally at least 1 major signalling project is needed.
As my client is a subcontractor they need some one who is resilient and be able to stand up for themselves to various stakeholders.
A large part of this role will be chasing clients for accrued debts and ensuring invoices are paid and kept on top of.
This role would suit an intermediate to senior QS and my client is looking to move on this asap for an ideal start date of early January.
