Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in highways projects? We are seeking a skilled professional to join our esteemed client on a freelance basis, overseeing major highways schemes in the Huntingdon area.

Key Responsibilities:

·Manage all aspects of quantity surveying for major highways projects
·Prepare cost estimates and budgets
·Conduct risk analysis and value engineering
·Oversee procurement processes and contract administration
·Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
·Liaise with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders

Requirements:

·Proven experience in quantity surveying for highways projects
·Strong understanding of highways construction and maintenance
·Excellent analytical and numerical skills
·Proficient in relevant software and tools
·Strong communication and negotiation abilities
·Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
