Role: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Swansea
Duration: 6 months +
Rate: £40 per hour - Umbrella
Start Date: ASAP
 
Our client is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join them and work on their projects within the Welsh Water framework
 
This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days working from home.
 
Responsibilities include:
 
·Be an integral member of the Commercial Team, led by the Managing QS
·Build a strong relationship with client counterparts
·Ensure all Morrison and Client processes are followed to minimise WIP (outstanding cash) and keep WIP within the contract and business target
·Ensure cash is received on time at forecast level
·Support the production of Monthly CVR's
·Manage and price change within the terms of the contract
·Provide support for pricing contracts working closely with the client
·Support the procurement and management of sub-contractors and other suppliers
·To develop and implement changes to process, following understanding of a need to make changes to improve performance
·Produce and present productivity measures linked to the operations resource to ensure tender compliance
 
Qualifications:
 
·A degree in Commercial Management/Quantity Surveying or other construction related subject or substantial previous
