Quality Manager
Location: Manchester / Sheffield / Leeds (with travel across surrounding areas)
Salary: £60,000 + Company Car Scheme + Excellent Benefits
Contract: Full-time | Hybrid Working Available
Our client is a leading civil engineering organisation delivering safe, sustainable, and efficient transport infrastructure solutions across the UK. As part of their continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Quality Manager to support delivery on their SDF framework.
The Role
The Quality Manager will lead and manage quality across a portfolio of civil engineering projects, primarily based in and around Manchester, Sheffield, Leeds, and surrounding areas. The role includes:
·Overseeing Quality Assurance and ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and the Quality Management System (QMS)
·Managing quality documentation, audits, and non-conformance processes
·Engaging with internal Quality and Procore forums
·Promoting continuous improvement and Lean construction practices
·Supporting the education and development of project teams in quality-related matters
Key Relationships
The successful candidate will work closely with Framework and Project Managers, as well as internal quality teams. They will be part of a wider delivery team supporting projects for local councils and major infrastructure clients.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be an experienced quality professional with a track record in infrastructure or civil engineering projects. Key skills and attributes include:
·Strong documentation and reporting experience (non-conformances, audit results, etc.)
·In-depth understanding of quality standards and continuous improvement principles
·Strong communication and leadership skills
·Ability to collaborate with project teams and influence best practices
Qualifications & Experience
·Excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365 [Essential]
·Knowledge of ISO9001 standards [Desirable]
·Lean Six Sigma Green Belt [Desirable]
·Experience using Procore [Desirable]
·High attention to detail and analytical skills
