Looking for a long term contract, Project Management opportunity in the water industry?
My client are a large framework contractor working on the delivery of several water projects across London. They have been working in several partnerships in the area to deliver capital delivery frameworks and manage water optimisation across London and surrounding areas. They have several years of large and medium sized projects to complete on behalf of the local water company.
The role would be working from one of their main office / depots in South London. Am excellent environment where you will mingle and mix with a wide range of different teams. You will get to work on clean and waste water projects, working a mixture from the office, home and visiting sites.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Project Manager, having worked in the water industry and have a great understanding of P&L, QHSE, project delivery and hitting clients high standards. You will be responsible for setting and delivering towards the financial budgets and ensure you are hitting client targets.

Responsibilities:
·Health and safety management including CDM 2015 and the promotion of safety positive behaviours
·Ensuring Projects are delivered efficiently and effectively, within a timely manner
·Promoting quality
·Developing partnerships with client asset planners, designers and delivery teams to keep costs low across the design and delivery of the projects
·Ensure environmental procedures are met
·Deliver to the clients standards and the highest level of customer service is given
·Assist in maximising cash flow and cash collection
·Manager and lead the delivery team
·Manage project delivery and oversee the management of cost
·Regularly review performance
·Manage resources and resource effectively
·Produce monthly performance stats and reports
·Deliver and adapt Risk, Opportunity and change management processes
·Promote efficient delivery of projects
·Ensure contract administration is maintained across the programme
·Manage and support the needs and requirements of the teams
·Work closely with the client to manage their expectations
Requirements
·Experience as a PM
·Experienced leader with experience with multi discipline teams
·Experience of working in the potable water industry essential
·Proven track record of delivering against operational goals and targets
·Good commercial understanding
·Experience in Utilities / infrastructure delivery
·Able to deliver excellent customer service
·Able to command respect and establish personal and business credibility
·Experience in managing external contractors
·Experience in managing design teams
·SMSTS
·NEBOSH (Desirable)
·Degree Educated in Construction Management or Civil Engineering (Or similar)
·Management training
·AMP & ILM
