Project Manager - Highways
 
An opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager with experience in Highways Engineering to join a busy client of ours. Your main duties include delivering high-profile highway projects across the area, liaising with various stakeholders, managing a multi-disciplinary team (highway, traffic and transport) as well as holding budget responsibilities and negotiating funding and income. 
 
Working within the Highways team your main duties include:

·Programme delivery team to manage the mobilisation of new framework contracts.
·Commercial & financial management in an NEC environment.
·Prepare contract document through to award of successful bidder.
·Design management and review - Specifically Major Projects
·Stakeholder relationship management across a number of cultural environments.
·Construction co-ordination, planning the construction programme and monitoring its overall progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective action.
·Supply chain management and the coordination of supply chain
·Site management
·H & S management
·Project team leadership
·Manage the risks to the programme's successful outcome.
