Role: Civil CAD Technician
Location: Manchester - Hybrid Working Available
Rate: Up to £50 p/d (DOE)
Duration: Ongoing (12 months+)

Our client, a leading company working on the United Utilities framework, is seeking a skilled Civil CAD Technician to join their team on exciting infrastructure projects. Based in their Manchester office with hybrid working available, you will play a key role in delivering detailed drawings and designs for major civil engineering works.

Key Responsibilities:
·3D modelling and 2D drawing production to a level suitable for construction, including layouts and general arrangements.
·Quality control of models and drawings, ensuring they meet standards and updating drawing registers such as MIDP.
·Ensure designs comply with CDM regulations.
·Coordinate drawing work undertaken by offshore resources and support the development of junior team members.
·Collaborate across technical disciplines to ensure seamless design integration.
Requirements/Desirable:
·Experience in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment.
·Proficient in 2D drafting and 3D modelling, with hands-on experience in Autodesk Revit and other 3D applications.
·Experience with Bentley Projectwise and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
·Solid understanding of CAD standards, QA processes, and engineering software.
·Detail-oriented, with the ability to present complex designs clearly and effectively.
·Self-starter with the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
