Project Manager - Rights of Way Capital Programme Schemes
 
Are you an experienced Highways Project Manager looking for your next contract role?
I am currently recruiting for a Project Manager to manage the Rights of Way Capital Programme Schemes for a client in the Midlands on a temporary contract basis. Strong previous local authority experience in delivering small complex highway improvements schemes is crucial.
The key responsibilities for the Road Safety Engineer:
·With regards to the Public Rights of way Capital Programme, Develop, Co-ordinate, manage, commission, and monitor resources to ensure programme is delivered on time, maximum value is achieved, and priorities are addressed within available budgets.
·Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with legal, technical, H & S, and environmental regulations, and liaising was necessary with interested parties and user groups including National Park Authority.
·Provide engineering expertise and advice in relation to the PROW capital schemes.
·Knowledge in the use of CONFIRM would be advantageous.
·Ability to identify / prepare Bills of quantities for major / minor engineering PROW works.
·An understanding of PROW related issues / legislation would be advantageous.
Qualifications Required:
Diploma/NVQ/Degree civil engineering or transport planning TPP Project Management eg. APM PMQ or PPQ, Prince2 Practitioner
Memberships: Membership of ICE, IHE, CIHT, TPS Membership of Association of Project Management or Project Management Institute
