Job Role - Project Manager

Location - Hybrid/Remote (will require sometime in Derby)

Contract Length - 6 Months

Pay Rates - Up To £50 hour (dependent on Experiences)

I am looking to speak with candidates that have experience in handling multiple projects at the same time with experience in highly regulated industries.

The candidate will have about 5-7 years' experience and wants to grow in a company that can offer steady work for a long period of time with great potential growth into some of the most exciting projects in Europe.

The project manager will have experiences in people managing, budgeting and tracking deliverables/risk.

Key responsibilities:

  • Working closely with our clients to capture project requirements.
  • Working with the clients teams to develop plans, bids and solutions to meet those needs.
  • Proactively managing all aspects of projects delivery, including forecasting, control, change management, risk management and reporting on project progress.
  • Instilling client confidence in project delivery through your professionalism and care.
  • Working to secure and develop the resources required to deliver tasks
  • Initiating and managing projects in line with internal Business Management System processes.
  • You will support the development, implementation and sharing of best practice for project management.
  • You will also support our operational management through project financial planning & reporting, resourcing and management of cash flow within projects.


Qualifications:

  • Chartered, or in the advanced stages of working towards this.
  • An engineering background.
  • Degree qualified or equivalent.
  • Hold a professional project or programme management related qualification.
  • Nuclear sector experience including mechanical design and analysis.
  • Delivery of complex technical consultancy projects and services


Although the team is based in Derby, the wider Nuclear and Power business has opportunities at locations around the country, internationally and at various client sites. Flexibility on work location and a willingness to undertake secondments to other sites is beneficial but not required.
