Project Administrator / Operations Manager - Southampton
We're working with a rapidly expanding infrastructure consultancy who specialise in delivering development-focused transport projects across the UK and internationally. With operations spanning Asia and Africa, they're dedicated to transforming communities by delivering affordable, safe, and reliable infrastructure.
As part of their continued growth, they're now seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Project Administrator / Operations Manager to join their Southampton head office team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to play a pivotal role in supporting global projects and ensuring the smooth running of a busy, international consultancy.
Location: Ocean Village, Southampton
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, office-based (Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5:30pm)
Salary & Benefits: Starting from £35,000 + benefits including:
·25 days annual leave + bank holidays

The Role
This is a broad and varied position where you'll be central to keeping the head office running efficiently, while also supporting the delivery of projects worldwide. Key responsibilities include:
·Overseeing day-to-day office operations and ensuring smooth administrative processes
·Coordinating project administration, applying consistent procedures across international projects
·Providing direct support to the management team with reports, presentations, and scheduling
·Supervising and developing administrative staff
·Managing travel, events, invoicing, and office systems
·Maintaining office supplies and equipment
·Supporting bid teams with proposals, Expressions of Interest, and client communications
·Creating a collaborative and positive working culture within the office
What We're Looking For
·A degree is desirable, but not essential
·At least 5 years' experience in office management, operations, or administration
·Strong IT skills across Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
·Excellent communication and business writing skills
·Ability to build strong working relationships across different teams and cultures
