The company are a well-established temporary works company who are building an in house temporary works design consultancy working primarily across the UK but also internationally.

Role & Responsibilities

The role would ideally suit a Senior to Principal level Design Engineer who will be responsible for the success and efficient running of major projects leading a design team.
 
The majority of work focuses on basement excavations, steel frames, geotechnics and reinforced concrete to develop tailored and efficient solutions.
 
This particular role has an excavation focus however, other roles are also available with a steel frame focus.
 
Experience Requirements
 
·Proven experience in the design of propped excavations, cofferdams, working platforms, slopes
·Thorough understanding of the different methods of excavation support from trench boxes to deep piled basements
·Analysis and design of geotechnical structures to current Eurocodes and industry guidance
·Experience in interpretation of Soils Investigation reports and selection of soil parameters
·Experience of the design and checking of temporary works schemes, ensuring all output is in accordance with company procedures and requirements of CDM 2015
·BEng/MSc (or equivalent) Civil/Structural Engineering
·Chartered member of ICE/IStructE (or approaching)
